Neo Ippei is Mikiko's studio and residence, embodying a unique blend of traditional Japanese aesthetics and industrial iron structure. Designed with respect for heritage, it was restored using well water and maintains a traditional architectural feel, while also serving as a creative hub. Neo Ippei operates as an art space where Mikiko hosts artist residencies, music events, and entrepreneurial gatherings, bringing fresh perspectives to Japan's rural areas. This space, under the management of her design company, Studio Mikix, is meant to allow local residents to engage with diverse cultures and values, creating a bridge between domestic and international influences in a harmonious and reflective setting.
